Announced in Poynter's E-Media Tibits- Online Newspaper Launched for Zimbabwe, Outside Zimbabwe

Recently launched by a group of Zimbabwean journalists and lawyers for Zimbabweans, it is hosted in South Africa, beyond the clutches of the Zimbabwean government.

Zim Online is believed to be linked to staff members of the now defunct Daily News, once Zimbabwe's biggest independent newspaper believed to have been closed down by the Zimbabwean government.
