Multnomah County Library Electronic Resources

Resource profiled today: The Wall Street Journal (Eastern Edition) (1984-present)

If you have a Multnomah County Library card, you have access to the full-text of the Wall Street Journal from your work or home computer.

Go to Full-text Newspaper Databases, click on Wall Street Journal.
In the Advanced Search form, in the first box type Wall Street Journal and click the down arrow and choose Publication Title, in the second and third boxes enter appropriate search terms. Click on the search button and up pops a headline list of articles that match your criteria. Click on the headline to get the full-text.

Note that this Proquest search form is your gateway to all the newspaper databases, so muck around a bit to get to know it.

This huge resource is available to ALL Multnomah County Library cardholders. If you don't already have one, apply online for your library card. If you live in the tri-county area you qualify.

Profiled here on June 3, 2004: The New York Times Historical archive (1851-2000)
