Google adds blogs to their "Alerts"

Google Alerts now has the ability to track your favorite blog topic.Previously users were only able to track News, Groups and the web. You can track all four by selecting "Comprehensive Alert".

Since this is a new service the verdict is still out on if this is a cool tool, or just a cool sounding tool. Go ahead check it out and let us know how your alert goes.
