Their official announcement follows:

ATTENTION ALL USERS OF LexisNexis®

Introducing the new Nexis® service
see the big picture quickly and easily!

We are excited to report that on Wednesday, October 25, our account will be migrating to the new Nexis service, which has undergone one of the most extensive, exciting and impactful upgrades the product has seen!

As you may know, LexisNexis is one of the largest news and business online information services in the world, providing users access to 4 billion documents and 32,000 sources. The new service will help you discover the right answer you need.

The new Nexis service is:

Easy - search using Natural Language or Boolean terms and connectors, which makes it as easy as searching the Web, but still powerful enough for our needs.
Unmatched - access to an unmatched collection of news, business, legal, and public record information only available through LexisNexis.
Fast - the helpful features that have been incorporated into the product get you to the right answer, fast.
Migration Process
On the day of migration, you will automatically be re-directed from the current version of nexis.com to the Nexis service. Saved Favorite sources will automatically be moved to the new product and any personal news searches set up will show up as Alerts. Although the interface is new, you will still recognize the new and improved "Power Search" form.

The world-class customer service team will make every effort to ensure that you have a smooth transition to the new service. Prior to [date of migration], please visit the Nexis customer migration site at www.lexisnexis.com/customermigration for all of the information and training options available to us. Some of the materials available include background information, frequently asked questions, training options and much more.
