National Sex Offender Public Registry

Last week the U.S. DOJ launched their National Sex Offender's database. Searches are available in 21 states plus Washington D.C. At this time California, Washington and Oregon are not available.

Included are "offenders who have been convicted of a 'criminal offense against a victim who is a minor' or a 'sexually violent offense.'"

There are some "conditions of use" noted that you'll need to "agree" to in order to search.
